Sara and Max’s love story began the moment Max noticed Sara on a flight while she was a flight attendant with JetBlue. Max mustered up the courage to talk to her at the gate after the plane landed and the rest is history. Sara’s worldly and easy-going personality blends perfectly with Max’s contagious sense of humor and this was evident throughout their wedding day.
We started out working with the beautiful bride and bridesmaids getting ready in a lovely hotel room at the Ravel Hotel in Long Island City.
The groom was getting ready in a nearby room with his son Christopher. The genuine bond between father and son is so strong and is not something that can be posed.
After the bride was ready, Sara’s father came in for a father’s first look. It was truly a touching moment.
After all the preparation was completed, it was time for this couple to get married!
The groom finally gets to see his lovely bride for the first time.
The reception took place at Ravel as well and the party was spectacular.
After the couple’s grand entrance, it was time for their first dance followed by the matron of honor’s speech and the best man’s speech.
Sara’s dance with her father and Max’ dance with his mother were extremely moving and emotional.
The entire evening was just pure fun, especially with the majestic Queensboro Bridge as the backdrop.
There was a wonderful impromptu moment near the end of the party when everyone grabbed a candle and celebrated with the couple on the dance floor. The evening concluded with a sparkler send-off for the ages.
Sara and Max – We extend one final hearty congratulations to you on the beginning of your wonderful journey together. It was a real pleasure to be able to be your photographer on your wedding day. Enjoy your honeymoon in Japan and Thailand and we wish nothing but the best for you and your family.
